While working on this blog this morning (and avoiding chores around the house and yard) I came across this very lovely video of the early days of Disneyland (1957 to be exact). It was uploaded to YouTube from a web site called The Disney History Institute. For those whose memories only go back a decade or two, this is a look at Disneyland that is both familiar and distant at the same time. As for me, I remember many of these rides and attractions that have long since disappeared and every once in awhile it's just nice to revisit what once was and in many ways, still is.
